Director

He holds PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Salerno, ITALY. He has 15 years of experience in teaching, process design & development and analytical chemistry; with core interest in process design and development for conversion of waste (agricultural, industrial, forest) via biochemical or thermochemical route.

He has developed pilot scale processes for synthesis of bio-surfactants and exopolysaccharides
(EPS) from dairy waste, synthesis of bio-plastics (PHB) from distillery waste, ferric and
p-coumaric acid from sugarcane bagasse. He has 5 international publications; 4
international conference attending on fermentation, agricultural biotechnology to his
credit. He has also filed two patents for synthesis of amino acid as plant growth
regulators from human hair waste.
